You can rely on BeConWiz to give you what you and your students need.

Inquiry journals are a great tool for scaffolding an inquiry, while leaving room for student agency in the process.

This journal has been developed around the Inquiry Road model, inviting students to consider the different choices they can make during an inquiry.

The journal can be printed in A4 size or the pages can be printed on A3 or in poster size and used to model the process to a whole class or smaller group. Students can then use this modelling experience to adapt and create their own resource journal.

The INQUIRY ROAD process includes

  • CREATE: Create a presentation, representation, etc. of what you know, have discovered or even the process you took
  • EXPLORE: Explore ideas, to test ideas or develop a hypothesis; Discover new ideas, identify misconceptions, learn facts, skills, perspectives or attitudes, etc.
  • RECORD: Find a way to record the details or process of discoveries
  • REFLECT: Use reflections to guide choices before, during or after an inquiry
  • PLAN: Make choices, develop a plan or process to guide your choices
