Each card has both a short explanation of each given step in the process, as well as one guiding questions that allow and encourage agency on the part of the student.

This is a great resource for teachers wanting to use iTime, a project based approach to problem solving, or other STEM related design projects.

It is also an ideal resource for classes inquiring the stages innovators and entrepreneurs go through when creating an economically valuable product or service that customers or consumers need or want.

In developing this resource, we acknowledge know there lots of design cycles and process out there in the world. Many use similar steps that take a person from the idea or problem stage through to a product, revision or reflection. Not all designers follow the steps in a linear or cyclical fashion. This is an important thing to remember and allow the students to experiment with an order or flow that makes sense to them.
